Jay Cooper likes to think big. The London-and-Vienna-based singer and mastermind of his eponymous music project doesn’t just go to a random and close-by studio if he wants to record a live session. Instead he travels to Berlin and sets up in no other place than the world-famous and beautiful Hansa Studio, where David Bowie recorded his Berlin Trilogy (and wrote the song “Heroes”) and many other big names of the music business (Depeche Mode, U2, R.E.M., etc.) turned their musical ideas into singles and albums. From his trip Jay brought us this energetic live video of “Like A Rock”, recorded at the studio’s “Meistersaal” and a short documentary about being in these hallowed halls of music.
